Project: Enticing walkers to come on in to the Wellington Museum

The shipping container was a genius idea before my time on the waterfront where all the walkers of Wellington pass by. Every season the skin gets refreshed with a listing of what’s on in the various venues. The designers get to have free reign of what to put on it pretty much.. I had some fun this season using the image of the car on our Spring Brochure - as we had a classic cars event coming up later that year.

I’d been waiting for an opportunity to play with the container, pretending secret a delivery was on the way…. I worked up a fake side to the container, faked a door and another open door and the inside… bit of photoshop later a poster screwed to the container, some posters inside and a special delivery… waiting to roll on out. From a distance it appears there is a car inside the container… people have been doing a double take on the water front.
