My Role — The design of a series of stamps and collateral to celebrate Christmas.

Approach — I wanted to take fresh look at representing Christmas and achieve something created in a modern way yet with a nod to the traditional. The idea was to showcase Christmas decorations but crafted, in a modern way. I scoured the globe and found an amazing paper artists Yulia in London who crafted these unique designs physically out of coiled paper for us, so using a traditional technique but in her own modern way, they were then photographed and set in the stamp design.

I love the way the decorations are hand made in the stamps [we photographed them] as it’s a nod to traditional activities families have done at Christmas in days past, and maybe some still today - making decorations together.

Items Designed: Set of 5 stamps, 2 First Day Covers, a mini sheet and a quilled Christmas decoration instruction sheet and video showing people how to quill their own snowflake or star.
